01

The month in view

A government proposal and a public story were taking shape together. Windland™, GSM’s proposed development in the Albury–Wodonga region, needed documents that explained the design and creative work that helped people picture it. March developed both.

The period combined executive writing, media preparation and creative publishing with the work of maintaining a sustainable daily rhythm.

02

What moved forward

The government executive proposal continued through refinement, while supporting attachments remained in development. Public-facing documentation for GSM Axis™ and Axis Strategy™ strengthened the explanation of GSM’s civic and strategic work.

Language across Club GSM™, the proposed membership network, and the wider business ecosystem was also developed. Tools We Need to Survive continued as a planned learning and resource series.

03

Engagement and response

Regional and national media contacts were researched and organised across print, radio, television and digital outlets. Release strategy and personalised introductory copy were prepared to support relevant approaches.

Early conversations with prospective collaborators explored web development, marketing, video promotion and multimedia storytelling. These discussions considered practical projects and possible relationships with GSM’s wider direction.

Video and LinkedIn publishing offered smaller, more immediate ways to encounter the thinking alongside the longer proposal.

04

What became clearer

The different formats served different readers. A formal proposal needed structure and detail; a cultural story or short video could offer an accessible first encounter with the work.

Public stories about Windland concepts retained imagination and personality while the underlying documents developed. The challenge was to make the connections clear without requiring every reader to absorb the entire system at once.

The log also began establishing a wider account of progress: preparation, learning and care matter alongside finished outputs.

05

The conditions behind the work

Physical recovery influenced the schedule. Rehabilitation options, support for wellbeing and possible routes back into work were considered alongside focused writing and creative production.

Bird Stories developed from life at Fluffington Manor, the founder’s aviary community, with galleries and storyboards in preparation. Care for nesting birds and Coco the cat remained part of the daily workload.

Scheduling adjustments made room for deep work, rest, care and responsiveness. Personal boundaries and relationships required attention too, reinforcing the need for a workable foundation beneath the public effort.

06

Position at close

The period closed with the proposal more clearly expressed, a developing media approach and continued public storytelling. Supporting documents and future introductions remained important next steps.

The priority was to carry the vision into forms other people could understand while protecting the capacity to keep building. This first issue establishes the beginning of the monthly record, rather than the beginning of GSM itself.
